- It seems the voters of Mount Kenya are determined to separate themselves from the administration of President William Ruto despite their great contribution in keeping it
- A week after the president was booed in Embu, his deputy Kithure Kindiki faced the same situation in Murang'a, although he is not there
- Mourners at the funeral of the fallen MCA refused to listen to Kindiki's tribute to the deceased; they criticized the representative of the vice president to submit
There was brief chaos in Murang'a, where mourners gathered on Saturday, November 23, to pay their last respects to MCA Mark Wainaina nominated.
How Murang'a mourners silenced the Kindiki representative
The procession and worship in the Kirogo field was good until the representative of the Deputy President Kithur Kindiki when he took the stage to deliver a condolence message for the deceased.
The Kindiki delegate faced objections from the audience, who began to jeer at him only after the mention of the honorary text from the vice president.
Although he was determined to silence the toll through the noise, but the bandits ran out of energy, which caused the member of the priest who was in charge of the funeral service to intervene.
The priest, after calming the attendees, asked the speaker to directly deliver the speech in Kindiki to the family.
Perhaps by identifying the hostility, Governor Irungu Kang'ata also delivered the President's speech William Ruto for the family, which he would read in front of the mourners.
After taking that step so as not to anger the mourners, Kang'ata began to address them in his personal capacity.

The elected MCA died on November 13; he was admitted to the hospital following a diagnosis of lung problems.
The events of the deployment of Wainaina added another example of the open hatred that Mt Kenya voters are showing towards Ruto and his administration.
On November 16, the president was embarrassed after a large part of his audience at a church function in Embu rejected some of his talking points.
Ruto had joined other leaders in Embu on Saturday, November 16, to witness the coronation of Bishop Peter Kimani in the Catholic Diocese of Embu.
In his speech, the president was directly addressing his predecessor Uhuru Kenyattawho was also at the event, wanted to list some of the achievements of his administration.
Why was Ruto booed in Embu?
As it is, Ruto mentioned the Affordable Housing Project, the recently established Community Health Insurance Fund (SHIF) to replace the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF), and the recruitment of teachers.
While stressing the importance of the affordable housing program and the establishment of SHIF, Ruto faced backlash from the public, who mocked him for not approving it.
They could not allow him to fully define the two programs; however, he was determined to get through the noise.
Their comments showed dissatisfaction with the current administration and the policies it creates, apart from the non-implementation of campaign promises and the recent impeachment of the former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua.
It also showed that the region is not happy with Kindiki serving in the Office of the Deputy President.
