DCI Raid the House of the Pastor Who First Shocked the Kenyan Government Through His Harsh Sermons

The priest expressed his concern about his safety and that of his family following the attack planned by six men.

How did the DCI invade Pastor Ng'anga's home?

In an interview with Citizen TV, Ng'ang'a said it all started when he noticed six men trying to enter his house, which made him question them.

This made him and his son go out and question the people about their identity and the reasons for trying to enter their house.

“I asked them who they were, but they never answered me, so I asked my son to take a video of how the events were going on, including the numbers of the cars used by those people,” he said.

The priest added that when his son took out his phone to record the incident, one of the men tried to pull out his gun and threatened to shoot him.

Ng'ang'a said the confrontation ended when those people who later claimed to be spies of DCIwhen they received a call from an unknown person, possibly instructing them to leave him and his family alone. They left shortly after the call.

Why did the DCI raid Pastor Ng'anga's house?

Pastor Ng'ang'a, who is also an employee of the Kenya Power and Lighting Company, said the attack happened after he gave a sermon criticizing the President's government William Ruto of Kenya First.

The preacher indicated that the detectives may have targeted his house because of the sermon.

“Other things that the government is doing can be so that the country's churches accept their wishes. I preached a sermon saying that if you want people to follow you, start denying them food, the hungry can do whatever you want. I don't know if this sermon touched anyone or caused anything,” the priest said.
