Mombasa – Panic spread among the passengers on the ferry in Likoni on Wednesday morning, November 20, after an unknown man threw himself into the Indian Ocean.
A video that went viral online showed a man clinging to the side of the ferry before losing his grip and falling into the water.
Witnesses who were on the ferry expressed their concern, saying that the man seemed to need help despite having a life-saving device in the water.
The passengers claimed that he could not swim well and almost drowned due to the strong current. For luck good thing, the coast guard was able to save him.
The case has raised mixed feelings across Kenya, with some feeling that the man may have been going through depression, while others question the circumstances that led to his fall.

A child is found alive next to his dead parents in Kiambu
In another tragic incident in Kiambu, an 18-month-old child was found alive next to his mother's body which had begun to rot. His father was also found dead in mysterious circumstances.
