Nairobi – A huge fire engulfed Kitui village in Majengo, Kamukunji constituency, on Tuesday, November 19, killing six people and displacing dozens of others.
The fire that broke out around 4.45 on Tuesday, November 19, affected about 50 households.
A source on condition of anonymity revealed to TUKO.co.ke that 16 people sustained injuries, including one with a suspected fracture below the knee, who was evacuated by the Nairobi City County (NCC) ambulance.
The remaining injured were treated at the scene by Red Cross Rescue Teams (RCATs). For luck Unfortunately, the dead included four children and two adults.
“Sixteen people suffered minor injuries and were treated by the RCAT team on the ground. One casualty with a suspected fracture below the knee has been removed by an NCC ambulance. KAA confirms fire accident at JKIA
Other News, a fire broke out in Level 1 of the JKIA parking garage on Tuesday, November 19, involving a car, the National Airports Authority (KAA) has confirmed.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and normal airport operations resumed without disruption.
