How did Swaleh get a job in the government?

His expertise eventually led him to public service, where he was appointed Chief ICT, e-citizen, and Public Communications Officer in Nakuru County.

In 2023, Swaleh took up a new position as Director of Communications in the Prime Minister's office Stay Mudavadi.

However, this lucrative career was abruptly cut short in June 2024 when he was arrested in connection with a corruption case that turned his professional life upside down.

After being implicated in fraud allegations, his former boss, Musalia, moved quickly to suspend former Standard Media political reporter Jacob Ng'etich.

Ng'etich's key responsibilities include managing media relations, preparing communication materials and maintaining brand integrity across all platforms.
