Speaking at a fundraising event on Monday, November 18, Mbura said that her husband plans to run for the presidency in the 2027 general election.
The former appointed senator explained her husband's absence at the rally by saying he was meeting with his supporters to prepare for his presidential bid.
“My husband, who is a senator, has given me information to bring to you. He said he would like to be with you today, but because of his preparations to run for the presidency in 2027,7 he is busy,” Mrs. he said.
