The Kilifi-based ministry has created a buzz about its broad publicity strategy.

Why does Pastor Ezekiel use posters?

Muhammad Onyango on social media, shared his investigation of about a dozen billboards on the road Nanyuki to Thika.

“I have counted about 12 billboards strategically placed along the route from Nanyuki to Thika promoting Ezekiel Odero's Newlife Ministries. Why would someone invest so much in advertising a church that is 500 miles away?” he tweeted.
