Sacked DP Rigathi Gachagua, William Ruto and Uhuru Kenyatta Face to Face Church Event

Embu County- President William Ruto and his former deputy Rigathi Gachagua they will share the stage for the first time almost a month after the removal of the president.

The two leaders are in Embu on Saturday, November 16, to attend the Episcopal Consecration and Consecration of Peter Kimani of the Diocese of Embu at the grounds of Embu University.

Others who attended the service were former president Uhuru Kenyatta and the current Deputy President Kithur Kindiki.

The previous leaders have not participated in the event for a long time.

Immediately after leaving office, Uhuru kept a low profile, appearing only at high-level international events in his role as peacekeeper in the Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo and, in some cases, as an election observer.

On his part, until the process of firing him started, Gachagua accompanied the president until sometime in August, when he claimed that he was locked out of the president's schedule,'

From then on, Gachagua will not be a participant in presidential events.

The former vice president sat among other elected officials while other officials gathered under the main tent of the VVIP residence.
