President William Ruto and his former deputy shared the stage for the first time almost a month after the deputy president was expelled from the government.

The two leaders were in Embu on Saturday, November 16, to attend the ordination and installation of bishop Peter Kimani of Embu Diocese at the grounds of Embu University.

In photos that have spread on social networks, the former vice president was seen walking in the mud, which caused concern.

Kenyans were surprised if Gachagua did not have access to VIPs like other dignitaries present.
