Where was Gatwiri buried?

All roads led to Thiiri Cultural Center Kithoka, on the Meru-Ruiri-Isiolo road, for the funeral of the comedian.

His friends gathered on Thursday, November 14, to view his body.

Some of them traveled to Meru to say goodbye to their friend for the last time.

MCA Tricky read the last tribute that Gatwiri's friends had prepared.

He became emotional while reading and took several breaks to continue.

Tricky noted that he was representing Gatwiri's friends.

The comedian shed some light on how the actor had unique personalities.

He described how honest and genuine Gatwiri was.

What were Tricky's last words to Gatwiri?

Gatwiri was also a reliable friend who showed genuine concern for his friends.

“Rest in peace. Today we gather in deep sorrow not only to honor a friend, but to celebrate the impact that Gatwiri has left in our lives. Gatwiri was not just a friend, he was a light that brought us warmth, honesty, and truth. To everyone who met him. Faithful friend, Gatwiri , he was always counted on to give guidance that came from genuine concern. He spoke from the heart, and that meant even in the most difficult conversations, we knew he had a genuine concern for our well-being.” Tricky read in part.

Kenyans knew her as Tabitha, but family and friends called her Brenda.

Tricky said that many friends saw his generosity and how he made them feel appreciated.

“Brenda was truly caring and carried the burdens of others as if they were her own. Many of us gathered here have felt her generosity. She spent time comforting and giving advice. She made each of us feel valued and not alone,” he said.

He also congratulated the late actor for his hard work and contribution in the entertainment industry.

“Gatwiri was a pillar. She was reliable, dependable, and always kept her promises, especially in our projects. She was a diligent and hardworking woman. Her personality will never be forgotten. Gatwiri's legacy lives on in us. Her spirit of friendship, her hard work , and his loyalty will continue to live among us. To Gatwiri, kamum, celeb, we say thank you.” he concluded.
