Mark Wainaina: Murang'a MCA Dies Shortly After Seeking Medical Help

Murang'a – MCA nominee Mark Wainaina has passed away.

He was diagnosed with lung problems that caused him to be unable to breathe.

The news was shared on Facebook by his close friend, Martin Muriithi, who had earlier appealed to people to help him financially for treatment.

“Rest in eternal peace Mark, this is truly heartbreaking, and accepting it is very difficult. You fought with all your strength, but God in his wisdom saw it best to ease your pain. May you find peace, and those of us left behind hold on to the good memories you showed us, dear friend ,” wrote Martin.

His death came shortly after Murang'a governor Irungu Kang'ata joined Kenyans' call for financial assistance to cover his medical bills.

The Murang'a County House of Assembly had also organized a fundraising event for the deceased.
