Makueni: Sad to see another KCSE candidate die while the exam is in progress

The young man, a candidate for the Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2024 from St. Dominic Kitise, died while receiving oxygen support.

He had been ill for a few days before his death, leaving his family and school in deep sorrow.

A source told TUKO.co.ke that the young man fell suddenly on Thursday night, November 7.

“He was vomiting and coughing frequently. He was taken to the clinic, but the condition worsened overnight. He was rushed to the Makueni County Referral Hospital,” the source said.

When did Cornelius Maundu Musyoka die?

Musyoka's family was notified as soon as the boy contracted the emergency, but it would not have been possible for his family to travel to the hospital that night.

His grieving mother planned to visit him on Friday, November 8, to monitor his progress in the hospital.

Despite the doctors doing their job, the young man's condition worsened and he got into problems.
