Poisonous – The police in Kisumu county have launched an investigation following the death of suddenly of a 25-year-old boy.
Citizen Digital reported that the 25-year-old man died on Monday, November 11, after arguing with his colleague over KSh 200 in the market Garissa Lodge in Kisumu Sub-County.

Kisumu Central Sub-County Police Commander Peter Mulai revealed that the dispute arose after the two men sold safari shoes and were supposed to share the proceeds.
Preliminary investigations show that following the argument, the suspect known as Nicholas Otieno punched the deceased on the left side of the jaw, causing him to fall on his back and hit his head.
The injured man was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival with what doctors described as severe head injuries.
Enraged citizens turned on Otieno, nearly beating him to death before the police rescued him.
Mulai said the suspect is currently under police custody at the Kisumu County Hospital and will face murder charges when he is released.

In another tragic case, a 29-year-old man lost his life while trying to intervene in a dispute between a husband and his ex-wife at Valley Bridge area of Kiamaiko in Huruma Estate.
The incident happened at the Valley Bridge Carwash on Tuesday, October 29.
The suspect identified as George Kuria Kanyigi is alleged to have attacked his ex-wife during an argument and hit her on the head with a stone and lost consciousness.

John Olando Ambwaya, Kanyigi's friend, tried to calm the situation but was met with violence.
It is said that Kanyigi pulled out a sword and seriously injured Olando by allegedly cutting his throat. The suspect then fled the scene with the weapon.
