Jasper Murume's sensational post

The incident happened when Murume wrote a Facebook post asking fans to send their donations directly to him.

“I am asking for your support in contributing to Gatwiri's sendoff. Tomorrow when I go to meet, I will have something from me and his fans,” he wrote.

Questions arose about why he used his personal number of M-Money instead of the family's official Paybill number.

Others defended him, suggesting he would want to personally donate on behalf of his and Gatwiri's fans who attended his send-off.

Harry Woe Sialo

“Jasper has asked us to support him with what we can afford. This is normal, we should not blame him in any way.

Patrick KM Clerk:

“The best way would be to share the official WhatsApp group link so that those willing to join can send their donations directly to the treasurer identified by the family.”
