What did Ruto say about Pastor Obego?
In a statement on his X account, Ruto described Obego as a dedicated servant of God and a prayer warrior.
“He was a light-hearted religious leader whose sermons were not only stimulating and touching, but also clear and true,” read Ruto's statement.
He also sent his condolences to the family and believers of the late pastor at this difficult time. “Our prayers are with Obego's family and his followers in Homa Bay County at this difficult time,” he added.
The cause of the beloved pastor's death is not yet known to the public.

During the opening prayer at the Second International Investment Conference in Homa Bay on February 27, the charismatic Pastor Obego made the leaders laugh before concluding his prayer.
