In a message shared online by Gatwiri's family members, they announced that the deceased will be buried on Friday, November 15.
Gatwiri's final resting place would be in his father's compound there Meru after the funeral service at the Thiiri Cultural Center.

“As you know, we lost Brenda Gatwiri, popularly known as Tabitha Gatwiri TABS. The burial date has been confirmed as Friday 15,-11-2024. The funeral ceremony will be held at Thiiri Cultural Center Kithoka in Meru. -Ruiri-Isiolo highway near Mugene market. “

Gatwiri's mother, Marcella Sheila Sajuu, mourned her late daughter in a message on social media.
Marcella was heartbroken when she heard about the death of her daughter Gatwiri.
