Nairobi – Detectives from the Crime Branch linked the suspect in the murder of three people in Eastleigh to another murder in Lavington.

Was Hashim Dagane Muhumed Recorded by Camera?
After finishing shopping, the woman went to a short-stay home in Lavington, where she was again recorded by CCTV cameras entering the premises.
According to detectives, the woman spent the night with Dagane in the house before killing him.
In CCTV footage, Dagane is seen leaving the house on October 31 with two black bags which police suspect contained Deka's remains, which were later dumped in the Lang'ata cemetery.
Photos from the residence where the woman was killed were consistent with the DCI's statement that the house had been painted to hide evidence.
“It is also confirmed that after Dagane left the house, the owner found out what happened to his house, went to clean the area, and the rooms were repainted,” DCI said.
How did the DCI recognize Hashim Dagane?
As previously reported, DCI officers arrested Dagane as the main suspect in the brutal murder of three women from Eastleigh a few days after identifying him.
The bodies of the victims—Dahabo Daud Said, Amina Abdirashid Dahir, and Nusayba Abdi Mohammed were found dumped in different places Machakos and Nairobi after family members reported them missing.
Investigation revealed that Hashim Dagane, aged 24, was driving a Nissan Note (Reg No. KDQ 718Y) which was recorded by CCTV cameras picking up the victims from their Eastleigh home on October 21, 2024, a few hours before their bodies. found.
The car was later found abandoned at the Farmers' Market near the ENA Coach station.
