Speaking in Limuru on Tuesday, November 5, during the funeral of Lucy Wambui, who died after an operation went wrong, Gachagua said many people expected the residents of Mount Kenya to march

However, the former Member of Parliament for Mathira explained that the residents of Mlima Kenya they have a different way of showing their anger.

He asked his followers to remain calm and express their anger only through songs and dances.

“Our society is very unique, and many people are surprised. They expected people to take to the streets, set fires, destroy cars, and make noise. That's not who we are. These people don't know us well. When we feel hurt, we stay silent. If you feel hurt enough to want to express yourself , sing and dance,” Gachagua said.

What advice was given to Gachagua by Mike Sonko?

At the same time, the former governor of Nairobi Mike Sonko encouraged the former deputy president following his removal from power.

Speaking at the funeral ceremony in Redhill Limuru on Tuesday, November 5, Sonko advised Gachagua to seek justice, assuring him that his political future is solid.

Sonko, who faced political challenges after being removed from office, compared his situation to that of Gachagua at present.
