The former vice president suggested that plans are underway to form a new coalition before the 2027 General Election.
“If we come up with a new outfit, it can even include Azimio itself, that's what we are considering. I ask the media not to bury Azimio before he dies and is buried because we have a big investment in that space and we want to be able to move forward in an orderly manner,” Kalonzo said.
For his part, Wamalwa was more candid, hinting that the new union would be ready before the end of this year.
According to Wamalwa, the new alliance aims to solve the problems faced by Kenyans.
“What we can tell Kenyans is to look at this opportunity. We are a few days into the new year and there are new things that are coming
I believe this is the team that will save Kenya against corruption and corrupt people and from President Ruto and his punitive tax measures,” The Malwa said.
Will Mount Kenya help Kalonzo in 2027?
Earlier, the General Secretary of the Jubilee Party Jeremiah Kioni endorsed the leader of the Wiper Party for the 2027 presidential election.
Kioni said that under the Gema voter camp, Mt Kenya region will support Kalonzo to oust the President William Ruto in the 2027 election.
The former Member of Parliament disclosed that there have been silent but intense consultations between leaders in the Gikuyu communities, Embu and Meru to express their views with the Wakamba community, a broad political coalition that puts Kalonzo at the helm of the country's leadership.
