Why George Aladwa demands respect for Ruto

Speaking at the 73rd anniversary of the Divine Church held at the Primary School Nairobi on Sunday, November 3, Aladwa praised Ruto for including ODM experts in the Cabinet after dissolving the previous government despite protests from Gen Z generation activists, saying that this move has helped bring peace to the country.

“The President of Kenya must be respected. We have united with him, and now we have a broad government. As members of ODM, our leader Raila Odinga he has met the president, and other members of ours have joined the government as ministers,” Aladwa said.

The MP criticized those who oppose the formation of a broad government, affirming his full support for Ruto in the upcoming 2027 general election.

“We support you 100%. We will follow your direction in 2027 and we will fully support you. People should stop misunderstanding and division. Mr. President, move forward; we are behind you, and we will support you—there is no doubt about it,” said the member of parliament.

Also, Aladwa used the opportunity to mobilize support for Raila vying for the position of chairman of the African Union Commission.

Mudavadi criticizes Kenyans who oppose SHIF

Meanwhile, at the event, Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi urged Kenyans to support government projects.

Speaking about the launch and implementation of the Sustainable Health Insurance Fund (SHIF), he explained that those who oppose the new health insurance program may have other intentions.
