- Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika was angry with Kenyans whom she accused of criticizing the policies of the national government despite the many elections it has
- For example, Kihika wondered why the people are against the tax measures imposed by the government, but they do not want the government to continue borrowing
- He also wanted to understand why Kenyans are against the Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives, which he argued have revitalized critical infrastructure in developed countries.
Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has criticized Kenyans who always seem to find fault in the President's activities William Ruto.
The county boss seemed troubled by the incessant culture of citizens to poke holes in the policies and plans devised by the Ruto administration.
Kihika suggested that the president often finds himself between a rock and a hard place to run the country in the face of strong opposition from the people.
For example, Kihika wondered why Wakenya many oppose the Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative between the Kenyan government and foreign organizations to upgrade the country's critical infrastructure.
His comments followed the public's dissatisfaction with the Adani Group taking over the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to renovate the airport for a few decades.
He also seemed to be surprised how Kenyans want the government to collect revenue for its programs while they oppose borrowing or tax measures that the government raises.
“I'm sitting here wondering what Kenyans really want. You don't want the President to borrow more money (I get it and I also prefer him not to do that), but when we have investors ready for PPP, then all of you. Then you also don't want him to look for money in – Finance Bill!” he asked himself on X's social network.
