The accident on Wednesday, October 30 occurred when a truck collided with a new private Nissan car. The truck overturned and blocked several lanes, causing heavy traffic.

What caused the Thika Highway accident?

Photos shared online captured people standing near the crash site, with many expressing disbelief at the damage.

Some eyewitnesses have suggested that another vehicle had spilled an unknown substance on the road earlier, contributing to the illusion of driving. However, authorities at the scene have not yet confirmed the exact cause of the collision.

2 drivers die in Bomet-Narok road accident

Other news, two boda boda drivers died on the spot after colliding with a matatu that was coming out Bomet towards Narok.

According to the police, the incident started when a motorcycle that was connecting to the highway collided with another motorcycle that was traveling towards Narok.

Following the impact, both motorcycles lost control and hit the Trans Luxury Sacco tricycle.
