What did Gachagua say about the Department of Justice?

Speaking in Limuru, County Kiambuat Geoffrey Murugami's funeral service, Gachagua expressed his belief that the judiciary will help him and his followers get justice.

“We believe that our court will protect and respect the constitution Kenyaconsider justice, and give justice to Rigathi Gachagua and his followers. That is our request,” said Gachagua.

He also called on Kenyans to maintain peace and unity despite ongoing political changes.

Gachagua encouraged the residents of the area Mount Kenya maintain good relations with people of other races.

“They have not wronged us, they are our friends. Kenya is bigger than all of us. We don't have another Kenya, we only have one Kenya,” he insisted.

Gachagua emphasized that, regardless of the court's decision, Kenyans should maintain peace and wait for the right time to express their views.
