How Khaminwa created comedy in court

During the removal process of Gachagua, on Tuesday, October 29, Khaminwa asked the judges not to remove the protective orders that stopped the removal process.

At the end, Khaminwa said that he enjoys caring for the interests of judges when they are hearing cases.

He said that judges are human and suggested that they might get tired from sitting for long hours hearing the arguments of the court.

He was persuaded to ask if the case could be adjourned until tomorrow, Wednesday, October 30.

“One last word. I like to be human and look after the interests of the judges when they sit. You are human, so why don't we postpone this case until tomorrow?” Khaminwa said.

His request drew laughter from the audience when he insisted that he was doing it as a human being.

“I'm being human. I know you're working hard. I'm asking if we can postpone it until tomorrow.”

One of the lawyers in the court, Muthomi Thiankolu, suggested that Khaminwa's real intention to try to sabotage the court process has finally been revealed.

Khaminwa's latest declaration comes just a week after suggested that the judges consider resigning from the case to allow a new panel if there are parties with complaints about their administration of the process.

He agreed with the court about the time given to the lawyers representing the parties in the case to uproot him.

Khaminwa stressed the importance of giving lawyers enough time to present their arguments, saying that the country is facing a constitutional crisis.
