1. The Standard

The newspaper reported on the events at the High Court, where a three-judge bench is handling the case regarding the removal of Rigathi Gachagua.

The ousted vice president sought relief from the court after the Senate approved the resolution of the National Assembly to impeach him.

Gachagua received orders from the conservatives, which halted the process of appointing the outgoing Home Affairs Minister Kithur Kindiki as the new vice president until the case is decided.
