Protection of Rigathi Gachagua was returned

Recently, Gachagua accused the President William Ruto for putting him in danger after allegedly ordering the removal of his bodyguards.

However, on Sunday, October 27, during the service at St James ACK Cathedral, Kiambu, Gachagua's security was beefed up.

Kiambu Senator Karungo Wa Thang'wa, who is a close ally of the sacked Deputy President, confirmed the return of his security.

In a message on Twitter, Thang'wa called for the administration of Kenya First also reinstate the dismissed DP employees.

“The state has returned part of the security detail of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. In the same spirit, I ask the government to take another honorable step and return its workers to work as well. Justice should not only be done but also be seen to be done,” Thang'wa said.

What Rigathi Gachagua said about his safety

Earlier, the sacked deputy president criticized President Ruto for allegedly ordering the removal of his security.

Speaking on Sunday, October 20, after being discharged from the hospital, Gachagua accused the president of denying him security despite helping him win the 2022 election.

Gachagua claimed all his security, including those guarding his house, had been removed.

Gachagua, who insisted that he is still the second in command, said the president should be held accountable if anything happens to him or any family member.
