Kajiado: Personal Diary Gives Police Important Information Following the Death of 24-Year-Old Sister Ngong

Ngong': Murder cases in the country continue to increase at an alarming rate, with the most recent incident involving 24-year-old Christine Nyakio who was found dead in the Ngong' bush.

In an effort to investigate Nyakio's death, detectives visited his home, where they found a notebook that provided insight into the circumstances of his death.

What was in Nyakio's notebook?

The notebook revealed details about relationship his and his alleged lover, known only by one name, Denno.

The deceased's notebook painted a picture of a relationship full of challenges with his troubled lover.

Speaking to Citizen TV, a woman who reportedly knew Nyakio said the last time she saw him, he seemed worried.

He added that when he questioned more, Nyakio admitted he was not well but did not reveal what the problem was.

“I asked what was wrong with him. He said he had a problem. Then he asked to leave but promised to come back,” said Wanjiru.

Nyakio's mother, Phyllis Wanjiru, said in pain that she had not heard from her daughter for three days before receiving news of her death on Tuesday, October 22.

“Anne was telling me that they had spoken and that she was doing well. We hadn't spoken since Friday, so I got the news yesterday that she was gone,” said Wanjiru.

Nyakio's body was found on Monday, October 21, dumped in a bush in Ngong' county Kajiado.
