DCI Department Arrests Main Suspect in Murder of 3 Women in Eastleigh Investigation Gains Speed

Nairobi – Officers of the Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) have arrested the primary suspect linked to the gruesome murders of Dahabo Daud Said, Amina Abdirashid Dahir, and Nusayba Abdi Mohammed.

The brutal murder, which has sent shockwaves across the country, is now under intense investigation.

A Citizen TV report revealed that the suspect is being interrogated at the headquarters of DCI while the investigation about the murder is gaining momentum.

The woman who says she was abducted along with the family is also in the custody of the DCI for questioning.

According to the woman, her family is alleged to have collected about KSh 1 million as ransom, which was transferred to a bank in Ethiopia, and secured her release while her mother and daughters continue to be held hostage.

This came when detectives found a vehicle believed to be used by the suspects, abandoned at the Farmers Market, Kamukunji.

What did the police report about the Eastleigh murder?

According to the National Police Service, the bodies of three victims were found in different locations after they mysteriously disappeared from their Eastleigh home.

Dahabo's body was found with no hands in Khyumbi, Machakos; Amina's body was found at 6th Avenue, Parklands and Nusayba's body was found at Bahati, Makadara.

Adding to the gruesome detail, on October 23, two severed human hands were found along Five-Star Road in South C.

Police said all the bodies have been sent to the City Mortuary for an autopsy scheduled for today, Friday, October 25.
