A single mother from Nairobi who lost his children in the fire tragedy finally buried them in the village.

Emotions ran high as three children who died after their house burned down in Mukuru Kwa Njenga street, Nairobi, were being buried.

Their heartbroken mother could not hold back her tears as she gave her children a dignified burial in an event that touched the hearts of many.

There were three coffins to mark the edge of the fire which caused deaths at 8pm on Monday, September 16.

The parent was surrounded by several women who comforted him while burying his sons.

He could not stand alone as he was overcome with emotion during the event attended by many mourners.

He was asked to stand and speak, and despite his state overwhelmed by the weight of the tragedy, he was supported until he finished his speech.

His mother's colleagues surrounded him while holding his hands and helped him reach where the coffins were.

“I would like to thank you all, I don't have much to say but I really want your prayers, pray for the souls of my children in a good place, my sons died a painful death in the fire. pray for me as their mother,” he said weakly before being sent back to his seat.

In another story, young children who lost their lives following a hit-and-run accident were buried.

A car hit the six children who were on their way to school early in the morning, leaving many, especially their families, broken.

It was found that three of the six children who died in Wiitu Shopping Center after being hit by a Toyota Probox belonged to the same family.

Several photos were shared to accompany the post, showing the setting of the emotional funeral ceremony.

Six baskets were placed on a red carpet under the tent which blocked the direct sunlight from hitting the wooden coffins.
