Kiambu Family Grief After Their 23-Year-Old Daughter Found Murdered Thika

A family in Kiambu is demanding justice after their 23-year-old daughter was killed in mysterious circumstances.

The body of Seth Nyakio Njeri was found on Monday, October 14, 2024, in a rented house in Biafra, ThikaKiambu County.

Lucy Njeri, his mother, narrated in a Citizen TV report that Nyakio left their home on Saturday, October 12, very cheerful.

He said they kept in touch until Sunday, October 13, but later they could not reach him as his messages and calls went unanswered.

Efforts to find him began but were unsuccessful until they received a shocking phone call from a friend who said the Zetech graduate had died.

“I found my daughter sleeping peacefully, a good soul; you could even imagine we are talking because of the relationship and friendship we had, but she has said goodbye to me,” said his mother.

“I saw an obvious trauma to the neck,” he said.

The initial investigation revealed that Seth was strangled. Police say the criminal raped the deceased before committing the brutal crime.

In addition, detectives have suspected a male friend who is alleged to be angry after the two broke up.

However, the theory that her enraged boyfriend killed her has been rejected by the parents, saying a friend who visited Thika has information about what happened.

“It was a murder and other shocking things that no parent or anyone else would want to go through. I am left with trauma, pain and shock,” said Njeri.

“I loved him so much, he was my only child,” he added.

Police officers have questioned the female friend whom the Zetech graduate visited, as they continue to investigate the matter.

MCA body of Wajir was found in Lake Yahud

In a separate report by TUKO.co.ke, the body of MCA of the missing Della Anole, Yussuf Hussein Ahmed, was found in the lake.

Hussein died on September 13, and his dismembered body was found a few weeks later dumped in Lake Yahud, Wajir County.

According to witnesses, the body of the deceased showed signs of severe torture, with some parts of the body having been cut off.
