Lawyer and law reform expert Ndegwa Njiru has stepped up his journey to lead his union with his fiancee, Lauren Ndanu.

Their traditional wedding ceremony was held on Saturday, October 19, in the Tala area of the county Machakos.
“Today, all roads lead Tala Machakos county for our Traditional wedding. I admire you so much Laureen, you're the love of my life. Welcome,” you read Njiru's invitation on the X social network.

The couple could not help but enjoy the warmth from the support given by their loved ones and friends.
The bride shone in her golden dress; the groom also did not disappoint with his Ankara suit paired with a fez cap.
The couple were expertly paired in the same theme of their outfits.

It was all smiles and happiness, and the couple, at times, joined other revelers on the dance floor for Swahili and traditional discos.
There were other important rituals behind the scenes; from the negotiation and payment of the dowry, the parties getting to know each other, and other rituals aimed at strengthening the impending marriage.
Apart from the close families of the couple and the locals, also attending the ceremony were prominent Kenyans, including opposition politicians, namely; Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Jeremiah Kioni of Jubilee, Martha Karua (Narc Kenya) Eugene Wamalwa and former Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu.
“I consider this to be the Wedding of the Year. Inside, your name symbolizes happiness. May you keep your family happy and your children be blessed,” celebrated Kalonzo.
Who is Ndegwa Njiru?
Njiru is a household name in the political environment of Kenya.
The lawyer has been implicated in major cases where he provided his services, including the prosecution of former Embu governor Martin Wambora, Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru and Kawira Mwangaza of Meru.
His latest major role was being part of the lawyers defending the ousted Rigathi Gachagua against impeachment.
The lawyer, who is a smart interviewer and a graduate of Kampala University, was highlighted in 2020 when he represented the County Assembly of Kirinyagawhich confronted Waiguru in the Senate after his removal.
