What did Khalwale say about Rigathi Gachagua?

Speaking on Saturday, October 19, in Malimili village, county of KakamegaKhalwale revealed that the Senators were ready to pardon Gachagua if he testified.

“We had the opportunity to forgive Rigathi if he came to the Senate. But he was afraid and failed to show up. Now he does not want the country to move forward,” Khalwale demanded.

He asked Gachagua to turn to the court to prevent Internal Security Minister Kithure Kindiki from being sworn in as his replacement.

He argued that the courts will not save Gachagua from being removed from office, explaining that the Senate is his only support.

The Kakamega senator claimed that Gachagua's fate was already sealed, and nothing could be done to reverse it.

“Gachuga, listen to this. The court will ask you exactly what you want. However, they saw in broad daylight that you were not available when you were called to testify,” Khalwale said.
