In the clip that is now spreading rapidly, a man recording the incident claimed that he and his fellow villagers were just watching the cows without interrupting them because they were not happy with the decision of the member of parliament to support the removal of power.

“The cows are eating the rice, as you can see. We are all here watching. Even the police officers are here, as you can see. We are watching to make sure no one touches the mountain,” a resident of Mwea said.
