Joash Sikuta Machoni, an old man who left Kenyans sad because of his life situation has received KSh 220,000 in donation, which has been used to change his life.
How much did Kenyans contribute to Machoni?
The man who was working near his house with big holes, was surprised when Prophet Dan Wema visited him.
When asked if he lives in a dilapidated house, he answered in the affirmative and further explained that he lived alone since his wife and children left long ago due to poverty.
After netizens saw the video, they convinced Wema to help the man. He gathered other people, and eventually they collected more than KSh 220,000.
How will Wema spend the Eye cash?
“Half of the money will be used to build his house while the rest will be for his personal needs,” Wema told TUKO.co.ke.
In the video shared by Wema, the old man is seen being cleaned.
They shaved his hair and also put glittering oil on his face. The old man seemed to be smiling which means he was happy in his heart with his new change.
Afterwards, he was taken to a delicious meal, and seemed to be having the time of his life.
Later, Wema told TUKO.co.ke that they had completed his house.
“We usually do it in one day,” he said after sharing pictures of himself with the old man outside the new house.
Many people who watched the new videos were happy that luck it had changed for the old man who lived alone.
