Nairobi – There has been tension in the Senate during the impeachment trial of the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
During the afternoon session, Gachagua was expected to appear and give his evidence against the motion to dismiss him.
However, when Parliament reconvened, the deputy president was nowhere to be seen, which raised questions from senators.
