An old man who ran away from home in anger 50 years ago has returned home to the joy of his family and friends who were looking for him.
Did Kiplel's family look for him?
According to NTV, Peter Kiplel Arap Ruto he got angry when a white resident took his goats, which had entered his farm.
“There was only one thing that could happen; they would isolate me,” said Kiple.
Ten years after his disappearance, his family got the news that he had been seen on the border of Kericho county and Uasin Gishu.
“It was not the first time to search; soon, we heard that he was somewhere and we sent our children to look for him. When they got there, they realized that it was him,” said his brother Jackson Kelel.
Where was Kiplel working for 50 years?
It was learned that Kiplel had been working at Grace Biwott's home in Keses, Uasin Gishu, for 30 years.
“We hired him to remove the gorillas and we also gave him food,” said Grace Biwott.
“He has always been a good man; when he came, my mother took him to church,” said Elkanah Kirui, son of Grace.
According to Jackson, Kiplel's happy brother, he wasn't sure what he would be like when they met.
When they finally met, she couldn't stop wiping away her tears, saying that they were happy to see her.
“Being happy can make you live fast, and it's good to try to take things slowly,” said Kiple.
