KTN News reports that the girl's body was found early Monday morning in a maize field in Kiamunii.

The local chief, Wilson Maraga, told reporters that a receipt found in his bag showed he had left Thika towards Nakuru on Saturday afternoon.

The receipt shows that he had arrived in the city a few days before the tragic incident.
