One man out Kiambu he was filled with joy in his heart after the woman who intended to embarrass him by living in a tin house turned into a blessing for him.
The man who lives in Kabete and identifies himself as Mr Mistariful has been posting videos on TikTok while in his corrugated iron house, but this brought him a slander from one netizen.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, the TikToker said it all started when he posted a video at his home, commenting on women who marry for money, explaining that they do so because they want to improve their lives financially.
However, one sister was very offended by the video, and that's when the discussion started.
“He commented that I should not advise anyone because I live in a tin house and I am poor. He wrote many slanderous comments, accusing me of living in a tin house,” he said.
Mistariful, who said he is a rap artist Kikuyuhe said that he showed the woman's comments and made a video out of it, and that's when the sister's insulting comments angered many.
Netizens came out to help him, many promising to buy sacks of cement so he could build a new house.
“So far, I have received several promises and KSh 10k to start construction. I am still waiting to get enough to buy construction materials. I am very grateful to everyone who helped me,” he said.
“When I started making videos on TikTok, I knew one day I would meet rude social media users. So, even though his comments were scandalous, I didn't hate it because I've been proud of my corrugated iron house,” he added.
