- What started as a sincere wish from Ichung'wah took a serious turn when some Kenyans criticized him for supporting the removal of Rigathi Gachagua
- This comes after Gachagua was recently accused by Members of Parliament in the National Assembly
Some Kenyans have attacked the Facebook page of Kimani Ichung'wah, criticizing him for supporting the motion to remove the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
What caused the wrath of Kenyans?
It all started when the Member of Parliament Kikuyu when he posted a photo wishing Kenyans a Happy Environment Day on his Facebook account.
In his post, he urged Kenyans to take action to protect the country and the planet as a whole.
“Happy Environment Day! We are all stewards of the environment. Take action today to protect the planet,” read Ichung'wah's statement.
Kenyans seemed to be waiting for this opportunity to express their views on the MP, as many ignored his message and instead focused on his role in removing the deputy president.

Kenyans flooded Ichung'wah's comment section, some wishing him a Happy Environment Day while others reminded him of his role in removing Gachagua from office.
