“He was just inside the house when I heard the explosion. I ran inside the house and found my son injured; his fingers were injured, and his stomach was also injured. He was injured everywhere,” said the boy's mother.

The family claims that their son took the explosive device from a Chinese company involved in the distribution of stones in the area.

“We started looking for the source of the explosion. That's when we found the mine explosive that killed our son. I have his remains in my house,” said a relative of the family.

Local residents blame the company for not informing the public about the dangers of having the company nearby.

“This kid didn't know what he was taking. If the company had fenced their area and put adequate security, I think we wouldn't be in this situation today,” said one resident.
