Members of the National Assembly removed the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Tuesday, October 8.
In the midnight voting session, 281 MPs voted to support all 11 charges against the vice president.
However, 44 MPs opposed the motion to remove Gachagua, while one MP decided not to choose a side.
He is now expected to be brought before the Senate, where members of the Upper House will investigate each charge to decide his fate.

Kenyans encouraged Gachagua after he was fired
Originally, many Kenyans they came forward to participate in the humiliation of Gachagua after the National Assembly voted to remove him.
