Rigathi Gachagua accuses William Ruto of using and dumping him

He criticized the Kenya First administration, led by the President William Rutousing him to win the 2022 general election.

What did Gachagua say about the government of Kenya Kwanza?

During a press conference at his Karen residence on Monday, October 7, Gachagua said he felt that Ruto and the government of Kenya First it no longer needs him, for he has already fulfilled his duty.

“The decision has been made that Rigthi Gachagua is no longer useful for this administration,” Gachagua said.

He seemed to imply that President Ruto only needed him to shut down the former President Uhuru Kenyatta and gain power.

Gachagua hinted that the mission might be to replace him as deputy president since he had achieved his goal.

“His job was to help fight Uhuru Kenyatta and get President Willam Ruto and after that he is useless so he should be left and someone else should be elected. Again it is the will of Kenyans,” he added.

The deputy president said there is a strong desire to remove him from office to the extent that the brother of the late James Nderitu has been included in the plan.

Gachagua sincerely defended his late brother against allegations that his wealth was obtained through corrupt means.

“How cruel can we be? How careless can we be? What is this matter of power? That you even fight with the dead, to put yourself in power and get rid of those who are thought to be your political enemies,” Gachagua said.
