Nairobi – “Many Kenyans have come forward to express their views on the political disgrace of the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua after the National Assembly voted to remove him from power.
A total of 281 MPs voted on Tuesday, October 8, to send Gachagua home after eleven charges were brought against him.
He is now expected to be tried in the Senate, where members of the Upper House will investigate each charge to decide his fate.
In the Senate, the motion to remove the Vice President will be confirmed if at least two-thirds of the senators pass charges against him after a seven-day session.
