James Njuguna and his fiancé Ruffi Tabu from Kitengela have received a lot of support from good samaritans to plan their wedding.
According to lawyer Wahome Thuku, who revealed their story, the groom had a modest budget and invited other Kenyans to celebrate with them in a sweet video.
How can Njuguna and Ruffi be helped?
Njuguna and Ruffi, who have been deaf since childhood, are set to tie the knot in November 2023.
Since the two Gen Z lovers are still in love, they asked well-meaning Kenyans to help them fund their modest budget and also attend the wedding.
Since the day they made their request, Kenyans have been supporting them in abundance.
“Do you remember this couple? They are getting married in November. Last week you earned them Ksh77,000 in this course. The groom also received a complete outfit from one of you here, whom I will name if I am allowed,” he said.

A 50-year-old deaf man marries a beautiful bride
At the same time, residents of Nakuru celebrated a unique wedding as the deaf couple, Thomas Mamisu and Grace, took vows in a Catholic Church ceremony.
The ceremony, attended by family and close friends, was highlighted by the use of a sign language interpreter as Thomas and Grace tied the knot.
The couple who met while working in Nakuru, are now starting their life together, and their parents blessed them.
