A Kenyan woman who has been working in Lebanon has claimed that her employer ran away from her at the height of the ongoing fighting in the country.

A Kenyan woman is left alone in Lebanon

The girl identified as Esther, whose video has gone viral, explained that she woke up and found herself alone in the house after her boss and his family fled Beirut.

In the video clip, the woman who looked confused was in tears as she said that she was very hurt to know that her boss did not care about her safety as she had no information about where they were planning to run to.

Esther tearfully said that she did not have the strength to communicate with her employer as she was trying to accept that she had been betrayed.

“I haven't called you. I wanted to then I saw your invitation to join TikTok live. I don't even have the strength to call them,” he said with tears in his eyes.

“But should I call them? They weren't even worried about my safety,” he added emotionally.

He revealed that his boss had previously assured him that he was safe in Beirut, then escaped a few days later.

“They didn't care about my life,” he added.
