NairobiA fierce battle is about to be witnessed in the National Assembly on Tuesday, October 8, when the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua he will present himself in the case of impeachment.

The deputy president has a team of 20 high-level lawyers to defend his case before the parliamentarians.

Leading the group is Veteran Senior Advocate Paul Muite.

Others include Tom Macharia, Amos Kisilu, Elisha Ongoya and Victor Ogeto.

The legal team intends to base Gachagua's defense on how public participation was carried out and the alleged favoritism of Speaker Moses Wetang'ula and his deputy Gladys Shollei towards acquittal.
