He was among the people who showed up at the Bomas of Kenya for public participation regarding the removal from office of the vice president.

Kasmuel McOure's position regarding the removal of Gachagua

Many netizens have criticized him for having double standards and wanting to fulfill what they call selfish interests.

Others wondered why he changed his tone to target only the deputy, while he also criticized the president during the anti-government protests.

In his words:

“We want you to make sure that we see anyone who wants to promote tribalism in this country to go. Gachagua must go. And like you people, we must make sure that we protect this country; no one wants to burn it down.”

Kasmuel also challenged the parliamentarians to ensure that they reject policies that make the lives of Kenyans difficult.

Mount Kenya MPs change their opinion about ousting Gachagua

Elsewhere, a group of MPs Mount Kenya who initially supported the motion to fire Gachagua have changed their minds.

The members of parliament led by the member of parliament Pain Rahab Mukami expressed their belief that the charges against the vice president will be resolved.

In addition, they have asked Gachagua to apologize from the President William Ruto to resolve their differences.
