Nairobi – Detectives from the Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) have discovered the body of the missing taxi driver, Victoria Mumbua Muloki.

Citizen TV reported that Victoria's body was discovered at the Nairobi City Mortuary, where it was brought on September 29.
Where was Victoria Mumbua's body discovered?
The discovery of the body follows a period of intense interrogation with the suspect, Edwin Ng'etich, who was found with the deceased's stolen car.

Initial investigation revealed that the body was found in a bush in Mai Mahiu near Lari road, County Kiambu.
Detectives from the Bureau of Intelligence and Criminal Intelligence Research, who were tracking down the suspect, were involved in the discovery.
After intense questioning, the main suspect opened up to the detectives and led the police to the area where he dumped the body.
Further reports revealed that Ng'etich had made similar mistakes in the past.
What Victoria Mumbua's brother said
The family of the missing taxi driver has been notified and is expected to carry out further identification, including DNA profiling.
In a social media post, Victoria's brother Meshack Kingi confirmed the sad news, saying the kidnappers killed his sister.
“They killed him,” Meshack said.
The police have planned an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
