Nairobi – The High Court has ordered the Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja to present the Member of Parliament for Wajir the missing Yussuf Ahmed.

On Thursday, September 26, Judge Alexander Muteti ordered Kanja to bring Ahmed to court on Friday, September 26, at 10 am or give an account of his whereabouts if he is in custody.
Judge Muteti gave the order to the Chief of Police and the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) in a case where the family of the ward boss accused government officials of kidnapping their relatives in a taxi a week ago.
“These are the orders of this court; if the party (MCA) is under the custody of accused 1 and 2, he should be brought before this court tomorrow at 10 am or an explanation of why he cannot be brought to court. if he is in custody,” Judge Muteti ordered.
