The wife of former radio presenter Parvin Sigei has revealed that she bought a house that she allegedly burnt down.
Sigei was at the center of great controversy after his wife's house burned down.
In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, Scholastica disputed Sigei's claim that she bought the house for him.
He noted that, fortunately, no one was injured by the fire because the house is located just outside of Nairobi; he was living in a rented house for the convenience of commuting to work.

“We haven't even been married for two years. I started working NHIF since 2018. We got married in 2023 in a traditional ceremony. I got the house through a home loan from my employer.”
Scholastica also responded to allegations that Sigei bought her a car and was giving her KSh 200,000 daily for expenses.
“He didn't even buy a car, he didn't buy me a car. He sold my car and bought a new one. He found me already established. I have my rental houses and businesses going on. When I asked him to return the money he took from me, he said he has no money. Even his wife William Ruto he does not earn KSh 200,000 per day.”
She revealed that she was Sigei's fifth wife, and claimed that Sigei had written her a message of his intention to burn down the house.
“Before burning down the house, he sent me a message. I have proof that he said 'I will burn down the house.' The pain comes where he bought the house for me. I didn't know the history of his. If he is innocent, he should be the one to face them of thought.”
